What Alfred does

Alfred reads the WhatsApp group chats you choose and sends you a summary of what needs your attention. Optionally, it connects to AI assistants and adds dated events it finds to your Google Calendar. You decide which chats are in scope and which connections are switched on.

Your account

You need a Google account to sign in and your own WhatsApp account to connect. You are responsible for what you connect and for having the right to use those accounts. Don't use Alfred to read chats you are not a participant in.

Not affiliated with Meta

Alfred is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp or Meta. It connects to WhatsApp the same way a linked device does, using your own account, and is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and availability.

Summaries are generated, and can be wrong

Alfred uses language models to read chats and pull out events, dates and action items. It gets things wrong sometimes — a missed date, a misread message, an event that was cancelled. Treat a summary as a prompt to check the original chat, not as a substitute for it. Don't rely on Alfred alone for anything that matters, such as a medical appointment or a deadline.

Your data

What Alfred accesses, how it is stored, and how to revoke it is set out in the privacy policy. You can disconnect any integration at any time from Settings. To close your account and have everything Alfred holds for you deleted, email [email protected] and we will do it.

Availability

Alfred is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime. Features may change or be withdrawn. If we ever stop running the service we will give you notice and time to export or delete your data.
